Hi T.J.,

you misunderstood me: It's a brand new tank, never used, never mounted, fresh from Suzuki. If you buy it from Suziki you pay around 350 US $/Euro or 700 DM.
At least that's what that old man had to pay who crashed into my Savage while parking - it then fell onto a small wall (50 cm high or so), right with the tank on the edge of it. :-(((
Big dent in the tank, of course... Luckily, he was still there when I came and he apologied for it (GRRRRRRR!!!!). I got the new
tank but decided in the end that I'd rather keep the old one (my local mech managed to remove the dent to 99 %), because I have a special painting motive on my tank and fenders, which was done back then in the US where the machine came from.
I didn't want to throw it away, couldn't do it. Now, that's why I have this tank to spare. If you got an old one (take care about rust inside) for cheap, well and good!
But you'll hardly find a *new* one for 20 $...

KTRSD!

Bert.
